June 13, 2010 (Dr. Walker’s Birthday)
Precious Child of M’Lord,
Some of you may remember me from my travels with The Reverend Dr. Jerry B. Walker.  I am Rev. Gerald Campbell, who drove our coach, Evangeline, and ran the sound system.  For those fifteen years, as we travelled together, Brother Walker had a God-given concern for missions.  Some of you may remember the orphanage in India and the leper colonies in Korea that The Jerry B. Walker Evangelistic Association, Inc., built and sponsored.  Most recently the JBWEA has supported Victory Christian Children’s Home and Victory Christian Schools in the nation of Malawi, where I worked for twelve years (although now I am working on a part-time basis).  ALL of the above-mentioned projects are ongoing to this day.  So what was the reason that Brother Walker was so interested in missions?  TO RAISE UP PASTORS AND TEACHERS AND EVANGELISTS TO FURTHER THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.
Now we have a mission opportunity that is almost unbelievable and has fallen into our laps.  The Reverend Dr. William Mark Bristow, pastor and the President of The Jerry B. Walker Evangelistic Association, who was hand-picked by Brother Walker, has been asked by literally hundreds of pastors in the nation of Mexico to start Bible Colleges in the local churches and to teach and preach the same messages that Brother Walker was well known for: salvation, baptism in the Holy Spirit, deliverance, healings and miracles.  This is the DAY that the Lord has given us to be a part of great revival and restoration of the churches in Mexico and to see thousands brought into the Kingdom of God.  What an honor to be able to start Bible Schools in the local churches and to teach the FULL GOSPEL to those in such need.
Dr. Mark Bristow and I ask you to consider giving financially so the pastors in Mexico can be better equipped to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their areas.  Jerry B. Walker, who was known as a great revivalist, would have wanted to be in the forefront of an operation like this one, and we invite you to be in the forefront of this opportunity to see the Kingdom of God expanded in the nation of Mexico.
God bless you in your prayerful giving,
Rev. Gerald Campbell,                                               Dr. William Mark Bristow
Missionary to the nation of Malawi                            President

William Mark Bristow
Not long before he went to be with the Lord, Jerry B. said to me, “Mark, you go preach because I can’t!”  What a privilege to carry his legacy.
From our churches in the Midland / Odessa, TX, area we have ministered on the border for years.  We have been working in Peru for twelve years, in Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, and Greece for about four years – but, in all honesty, I never thought about the interior of Mexico.  With some trepidation, I accepted an invitation to minister in a pastors’ conference in Chihuahua City, Chihuahua (Mexico) last March.  For 3 days, 150 pastors from around the nation sat on the edge of their seats with spiritual hunger.  When the Lord healed a pastor’s wife of cancer and the debilitating effects of chemo and radiation, the pastors came to me with tears, saying “Will you come and help us?”
When our friend, Dr. Gregory Romine, who directs the College for Global Deployment (www.collegeforglobaldeployment.org) shared the possibility of extension campuses for authorized training with these pastors, preparation for extension campuses began immediately in 11 locations.  1) Piedras Negras, 2) Monterrey, 3) Cadereyta, 4 & 5) Two schools in Chihuahua, 6)Camargo (Tamps, Mexico), 7)Merida, 8)Juarez, 9) Eagle Pass, TX (border town), 10)Cuidad Acuña, 11) San Antonio, TX (to train Mexican nationals).   Dr. Romine just travelled to 6 of these locations last week, setting up campuses and holding pastors’ conferences with about 200 pastors.
We have a campus of the College for Global Deployment operating at our church (www.parkerheights.org) in Odessa, TX and this year we will be graduating 7.  The College has been granted a religious exemption from authorization to issue Degrees in Theology and Mission studies.
Working with Pastor David Corral of Chihuahua City, and Pastor Alfredo Ruiz of Camargo (Tamps), Mexico, we currently have plans for the following crusades in Mexico:
June 22-23-24, 2010  Pastors’ conference and Miracle Crusade with 150 pastors in Tuxpan, Mexico, near Veracruz. (Pastor David Corral and Alfredo Ruiz coordinating locally.)
July 27-28-29, 2010 Citywide Miracle Crusade in Bullfighting Arena 7:00 pm each night, Cadereyta, Mexico.  (Pastor Silva is coordinating locally.)
July 30-31- August 1, 2010 Pastors’ conference (200 pastors) and Miracle Services in Monterrey, Mexico with Pastor Vincent Bravo, Iglesia Agua Viva (Church of the Living Water).  Pastor Bravo has 16 churches under him with about 6,000 members.  One of our Bulgarian Pastors, Lubo Petkov of Stara Zagora will join us for this conference.
August 26-27-28, 2010 We are finalizing plans with 10 pastors for Miracle Tent Crusade, Juarez, Mexico. (Pastor Jose Manuel Dalomares is coordinating locally.)
Please pray for us, and ask the Lord what He would have you to do.  Thank you for helping me to say, “YES” to the call and “YES” to these pastors!
